This year’s show is professionally produced by Schaefer Fireworks renowned for their stunning pyrotechnics and vibrant choreography. The 40-minute spectacle will begin shortly after dusk, lighting up the night sky with brilliant bursts of color and sound. Gather with friends and family along the riverfront for an unforgettable grand finale to our Independence Day celebration. It's a show you won’t want to miss!

The Kid’s Zone is the perfect place for families to enjoy safe, fun-filled activities throughout the day! This year’s attractions include face painting, a bounce house, and a variety of classic games sure to keep kids smiling and entertained. With plenty of space to play and friendly volunteers on site, the Kid’s Zone offers a welcoming environment for children of all ages. It’s a great way for little ones to make big holiday memories while parents relax and enjoy the celebration.

Come hungry and enjoy a delicious variety of food and drinks at this year’s celebration! We’ll have numerous food trucks and local vendors on site serving up sweet treats, savory bites, and refreshing drinks all day long. Some of this year’s crowd favorites include East Coast Mini Donuts, Schnader’s Taters & Funnel Cakes, Joe’s Fish Sandwiches, and Morgan’s Shaved Ice—just to name a few. Don’t forget to grab a bite before the fireworks begin!

This year’s entertainment will feature the one and only DJ Jason, spinning a crowd-pleasing mix of hits to keep the energy high all day long. Plus, don’t miss your chance to grab the mic—karaoke opportunities will be available throughout the day for guests of all ages. While the fireworks can be seen lighting up the night sky from almost anywhere in Wrightsville, the Riverfront Park is the prime viewing location for the full experience. Situated right along the Susquehanna, it offers a great view of the dazzling display as it reflects over the water. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and arrive early to grab your spot along the riverbank. Whether you're right on the water or watching from a distance, you're in for a spectacular show!

To ensure a safe and smooth event for everyone, certain roads in and around Wrightsville will be temporarily closed or have limited access on the day of the celebration. These closures help us manage traffic flow, vendor setup, and pedestrian safety near Riverfront Park and surrounding areas. Detailed road closure information and traffic updates will be posted here closer to the event date. Please check back soon and plan ahead to make your visit as enjoyable as possible!

Parking for the Wrightsville-Columbia 4th of July Celebration is available on a first come, first serve basis throughout the surrounding area. Handicap-accessible parking will be available at Riverfront Park for those with valid permits. Please be respectful of designated no parking zones, which will be clearly marked to ensure safety and traffic flow. Additional parking details and a list of no parking areas will be posted closer to the event date. We recommend arriving early and carpooling when possible to make your experience hassle-free.
